Here we are coming together, starting up, getting going!

very cool, if not terribly constructive as yet... but very cool!
We will be meeting at the Robo-HQ (my place) regularly on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 from now on the team decided.

The website for the UK competition is http://firsthandtechnology.org.uk - click on the bodyforward challenge launched link to access the handouts from our meeting and lots of other useful downloads. http://brainstorms.puzzlebox.info is the website for the opensource software that recieves signals from the headset programme and sends them to Bert3e - its got some general pages and also access to the open source that everything is based on. This is quite techie and you need a real programmer to help you before getting anything useful here, but in principle we should be able to see if we can modify this to do different things - in particular we should be able to see where the programme sends stuff to the NXT motors and how that works...? The programme uses this - http://pypi.python.org/pypi/jaraco.nxt - to talk to Bert3e.

We also considered a thought controlled fairground ride, waltzer type, then you'd know if you mates were really scared coz they wouldn't go so quick!
We are the thinking caps, and 3 of us are boyscouts. We leave in the state of virginia in the USA.
We noticed that you are doing the same thing as us. We are using the Neromindset for the NXT. We are intrigued by what you have done. We would like to ask you what sort of problems have you had to make it work.
We are really excited to receive our mindset next week, and start working with it.
